Light City Signature Cocktail
After a cocktail-making contest featuring Baltimore's best bartenders, taste-testers selected "Golden Hour" to be the signature beverage of Light City 2017. More than a dozen restaurants will be serving "Golden Hour" throughout the nine-day festival.
The sweet-and-sour cocktail stars Baltimore's own Sagamore Rye whiskey mixed with lemon juice, maraschino liquor and orange juice. Many of the restaurants serving the cocktail are also showing support for the United Way of Central Maryland by donating $1 from every signature cocktail purchase to the charity, which fights to ensure the stability of individuals and families who are facing homelessness across the Baltimore region. So you can feel even better about trying "Golden Hour."
