Recently Answered Questions:

hotel Q: Can you please recommend the best pet friendly hotel to accomodate a family of 5 and a dog within walking distance of the aquarium? How far are you from Wash, DC and Aberdeen, MD? Thank You. Teri Mattutat A: Hi Teri,

The Brookshire Suites has a pet-friendly dog policy and good-sized rooms and suites. It's right on Lombard, a block from the Inner harbor.

Downtown Baltimore is about an hour from Aberdeen. Although the trip to Washington should take only about an hour, traffic can slow the trip to about 90 minutes by car. At least that's the way I figure it with my poky driving style.

Hope you, your family and your pup have a good visit here.

kid friendly hotel Q: I am planning a trip with my 6 year old daughter to the aquarium. Is there a close and safe place to stay that is affordabel? We will be arriving the night before and visiting the next day. Any kid friendly restaurants? A: Hi Lynn,

I'd look at the Hyatt Regency. Even though it's on prime real estate it can offer a good deal. You can see the aquarium right across the Inner Harbor and its right across the street from the restaurants of Harborplace.  You'll never have to worry about a taxi during your visit.
I have one more thought. The Brookshire Suites right on Lombard Street is very close by with spacious rooms, steps away from the Inner Harbor and, I think breakfast and kid-friendly activities.
Hope you have a fin-tastic visit.
