Q: Aloha! We fly in to BWI and would like to spend about 4-5 hours in the Inner Harbor area before shuttling off from Penn Station to a workshop in another county. Is there a lugggage storage facility in the Inner Harbor area? This would allow us to wander freely and enjoy ourselves! Thank you :-)
A: There are probably numerous hotels that would help out a visitor in need.  I just checked with the Holiday Inn Inner Harbor (410) 685-3500 and the woman said that storage is free for hotel guests.  Although I cautioned her that you wouldn't be staying there, she suggested that you ask for the Hotel Manager on Duty and explain your situation.  She was certain that they would be able to accommodate your request although there might be a reasonable fee.  Everyone in Baltimore wants your stay (however short or long!) to be an outstanding experience!  Enjoy your time here and we know you'll be returning when you have more time to spend and explore our great city!

Q: What are reasonably priced hotels in walking distance to Baltimore Comedy Factory on Market Place? What dining is close?
A: In addition to the great suggestions already mentioned for accommodations on a budget, I'd also toss in the Lord Baltimore Radisson Plaza Hotel, The Mount Vernon Hotel, Sleep Inn & Suites Inner Harbor and the Quality Inn.  Also as mentioned, there are too many amazing restaurants in every price range within walking distance to list!

water fountain display in harbor

Q: I wanted to know the schedule of the water fountain display in the harbor. I think it goes every hour, but for how long every hour? I have friends with children visiting and think it'd be great for them to visit on a hot day!
A:

While I'm not sure whether there is a formal schedule, The Walter Sondheim Interactive Water Fountain seems to run nearly all the time. Children (as well as adults) can certainly enjoy it.  Don't forget a towel and sunscreen and remember that the fountain is between the Maryland Science Center and the Baltimore Visitor Center.  The American Visionary Art Museum, The National Aquarium, and countless other great children's attractions are also very nearby.

Q: Where can I park a truck and camper that is near the aquarium?
A:

I believe you can also park your truck and camper at Camden Yards on non-game days.

Camden Yards Sports Complex, Maryland Stadium Authority, Lot C and J
Central Parking Systems, Justin Rogers, 410-347-9330 ext. 11

Q: I live in Miami and my mom is turning 84 this July. She was born in Baltimore and is always talking about the crabcakes from there. She talks about the yummy lump crabcakes. Could you please tell me the best place to order them and have them shipped to Miami?
A: Why not go with Faidley's ?
Faidley's has shipping prices and quotes readily available on their website.
With it's recent buzz on the Early Show, the crab cakes are going like hotcakes.
I'm also sure your mom remembers J.W. Faidley's from Lexington Market.
Hope this helped. :)
