It's Back! Returning for a second year, the AST Dew Tour kicks off the summer tour in Baltimore for the Panasonic Open, June 20-22, at the Camden Yards Sports Complex. Enjoy four jam-packed days featuring competitions in skateboarding (vert and park), BMX (vert, park, and dirt) and Freestyle Motocross. Over 150 of the best action sports athletes in the world will be in Baltimore to compete in the competition, including Ryan Sheckler, star of MTV's Life of Ryan, Baltimore's Hometown Hero, Bucky Lasek, Dave Mirra and Nate Adams.
But wait, that's not all that's in store for fans! In addition to the competitions, AST Dew Tour Music Series will present a Friday night concert presented by Verizon Wireless featuring an opening act followed by a headline act. Past AST Dew Tour Headliners have included Ludacris, All American Rejects, Ja Rule, Hoobastank, and many more. As well as the daily festival village with interactive events, athlete autograph sessions, and games that's fun for the whole family.
Good Charlotte Hits Baltimore
The rock stars from Good Charlotte will be dropping in on the Verizon main stage in Baltimore, kicking the season off on a high note and pumping the crowd up with their hit song "Misery" - the theme song for the 2008 AST Dew Tour.
Good Charlotte takes the stage the evening of Friday, June 20 and will be playing tracks from their 2004 album The Young and the Hopeless, as well as from their latest release, Good Morning Revival - the fourth album released from this multi-platinum selling group.
Hailing from Waldorf, Maryland, band members include twin brothers Joel and Benji Madden, Billy Martin, Paul Thomas and Dean Butterworth. The guys are psyched t be playing a hometown show - after touring the world for the past year, nothing is better than playing for hometown fans.

About the Tour
Entering its fourth year, the AST Dew Tour is the most watched and attended action sports property in the world. Attendance for the 2007 AST Dew Tour totaled nearly 300,000 and an average of 41 millionviewers turned in via NBC and USA each year. The top athletes in the world will take part in this year's Tour, all competing for the highly coveted Dew Cup that will be awarded in Orlando at season's end to champions in each of the six disciplines.
The 2007 Dew Cup winners include Nate Adams (Freestyle Motocross), Jamie Bestwick (BMX Vert), Ryan Nyquist (BMX Dirt), Daniel Dhers ( BMX Park), Shaun White (Skateboard Vert) and Ryan Sheckler (Skateboard Park). The greatest action sports athletes in the world will be competing for the largest prize purse in action sports - $2.5 million, plus a $1 million bonus pool.
