  • The Visitor Center now has FREE public Wi-Fi inside the Visitor Center as well as FREE cell phone/tablet charging available. New seating areas have been added seating areas so that guests may relax while using the Wi-Fi or charging facilities.
  • The traveling War of 1812 Exhibit has returned for the summer season, and rejoins standing exhibits highlighting the Civil War, Underground Railroad, and the life of Harriett Tubman.
  • Help visitors find out about your products and services by placing your brochures at the Visitor Center. Members can contact Jennifer Anderson at 410-659-7319 or email at janderson@baltimore.org for more information.
  • Add a sales force to your organization. Members can have their tickets sold at the Visitor Center and Visit Baltimore’s Call Center by contacting Frank Riggio-Preston at 410-659-7066 or email at friggiopreston@baltimore.org.”

Save the Date:National Aquarium’s Blacktip Reef Exhibit Debut

Visit Baltimore and National Aquarium, invite you to experience the new Blacktip Reef exhibit (opening to the public on July 10th). The event is free of charge for Visit Baltimore Members.

Come face to face with 20 exhilarating Blacktip Reef sharks and over 1,000 other fish that inhabit this Indo-Pacific reef. The $12.5 million transformation of the 250,000 gallon tank, (formerly “Wings in the Water”) will now offer visitors a breathtaking journey into a kaleidoscope of light, color and aquatic life.

“Show Your Badge” Opportunities

Over 10,000 conventioneers will participate in the the 23rd annual Firehouse Expo, held from July 23 -27, 2013.

In August, Baltimore will welcome 20,000 attendees for the 20th anniversary of Otakon. The conference will run from August 9-11,2013 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
