Less than a year after the Baltimore Uprising, and the topic of community engagement in the Civil Rights Movement is as important as ever. Please join the Waldorf School of Baltimore for our 18th Annual Civil Rights Luncheon on Saturday, January 23 at 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Guest speaker Lester Spence, Associate Professor of Political Science and Africana studies at Johns Hopkins University, will address the transforming racial landscape of Baltimore, Maryland and the United States. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Please RSVP to development@twsb.org. Childcare will be available for children under nine years old.
