From simple repetitions of the phrases “Good Night” and “Good Morning” artist Joan Jonas stirs viewers with a raw and intimate look into her personal life and the passage of time. Join Evan Moritz, director of Annex Theater, and artist Stephanie Barber, to explore the power of daily ritual in two video works by Jonas on view in the Contemporary Wing. Hear about connections between his artistic practice and Jonas’s and join him in the galleries for a live performance experience created out of everyday interactions.
