Steam Train Rides & Demonstrations: Saturday, October 3 at 11am, 12 Noon, 1pm, & 2pm Sunday, October 4 at 12 Noon, 1pm, & 2pm Celebrate steam power and steam engines at the birthplace of American railroading. Take a steam locomotive train ride behind historic steam engine, the St. Elizabeth #4. Your train ride journey allows you to stop and watch a steam locomotive demonstration of the historic steam engine, the Lafayette. You may also observe a Civil War encampment on the museum's west end, near the site of Baltimore's largest Union encampment during the American Civil War. Educational programming highlights steam power of locomotives that traveled all along the B&O rail system.
