Charm City Ballet presents, "A Christmas Carol," an original full-length ballet to be performed at the Baltimore Museum of Art’s, Joseph and Rebecca Meyerhoff Auditorium, at 10 Art Museum Drive, on December 19th for two shows. 1:30 pm, and 7:30 pm. Directors, founders and choreographers of Charm City Ballet, Rebecca Friedman and Peter Commander, are 2009 graduates of Goucher College where they studied and performed in the highly regarded dance department, with both faculty and renowned guest artists. This premier is unique in that community dancers from all walks of life are performing together in a high-quality ballet version of the Dickens tale, "A Christmas Carol." The music includes some of Nick Bicat's original score, as used in the 1984 film adaptation, as well as the works of Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev.
