Food Network's Chopped Junior finalist, Bryce Taylor, is sharing his culinary talents in a fun, hands-on cooking class in Baltimore! Before his big shot on the cable network's popular cooking competition, Bryce participated in a cooking class hosted by online personal chef service, PlateDate. The event gave Bryce his first experience inside a commercial kitchen, and during his Chopped Junior appearance, the young chef credited PlateDate as inspiration!
This spring, the 13-year-old Baltimore native will head back to the kitchen where it all began in PlateDate's Cuban Cooking with Food Network's Chef Bryce Taylor at Stratford University's Harbor East Campus. Inspired by President Obama's recent visit to Cuba, Chef Bryce will guide other young chefs and their parents as they prepare authentic Cuban dishes like mouthwatering plantain salsa cups and tasty Cubano sandwiches. Chef Bryce will also show participants some of his amazing food presentation techniques, and even share a few behind-the-scenes stories from his Chopped Junior experience.
