This one-day, free and family-friendly event is the culminating event of Baltimore Architecture Month, and invites the public to explore dozens of historic and modern structures in Baltimore City for free!
The theme of this year’s tour is “Undiscovered Baltimore” and showcases little-known buildings in the city along with heretofore hidden features and spaces within some well-known landmarks not regularly open to the public. In addition to opening their doors, many sites will offer special programs for visitors, such as guided tours, a sketching workshop, a photography workshop, and more. Visit www.doorsopenbaltimore.org for a list of participating sites and special events.
During the event, visit the Information Hub at the Baltimore Museum of Industry to speak with organizers and to pick up a copy of the event brochure including a list of all participating sites and activities.
