Patricia Fernandez-Kelly (Princeton University) discusses the links between race, poverty, and joblessness within Baltimore’s African American community. Fernandez-Kelly’s book, The Her’s Fight: African Americans in West Baltimore and the Shadow of the State, will be available for sale and signing. Presented with grant support from the Maryland Humanities Council. Free with museum admission.
