Create comic book art about your community and self-identity with artist Jerrell Gibbs utilizing the African American comic strip character Franklin Armstrong from the comic strip Peanuts, created by Charles M. Schulz. Participants will dialogue with Gibbs, create an art piece using “Franklin” and create a written message to go along with their piece. Recommended for ages 8-14. This workshop is in conjunction with the "BMore" Than the Story and Question Bridge: Black Males exhibitions.
