It is well known that Henry Walters collected masterpieces of manuscript art from all over western Europe. Less well known are the 128 Islamic manuscripts that he also collected. These spectacular works are currently being digitized so that manuscript lovers can page through them all, both at the museum, and from their desktops. This exhibition will highlight some of the manuscripts and allow visitors to leaf through their virtual equivalents.
