Little ones who can't stay up until midnight can countdown to the New Year at 12 noon at our 11th annual Noontime New Year: An International Celebration! Children will make noisemakers and hats and decorate giant numbers for the Big Countdown at 12 noon with MPT's Bob the Vid Tech! After toasting the New Year with milk and cookies, families can engage in special programs that celebrate the traditions of countries from around the world, including Italy, Japan, China, Greece, Israel, Mexico, and many more! Visitors can experience cultural crafts and celebrations with activities such as: Origami making, Calligraphy name writing, Kamishibai Circle Times, Pasta making, Spartan Shield making, Venetian Mask making, and much more!
