SUNNA GUNNLAUGS TRIO <p> Sunna Gunnlaugs, piano<br> Þorgrímur Jónsson, bass<br> Scott McLemore, drum <p> ?Long Pair Bond? the new trio album by Icelandic pianist Sunna Gunnlaugs, marks her move home after spending over a decade in Brooklyn playing mostly in quartets with saxophonists like Tony Malaby, Loren Stillman or Ohad Talmor. <p> Born in Iceland 1970, Sunna Gunnlaugs came to the United States to study jazz at William Paterson College in New Jersey in 1993 and upon graduation moved to Brooklyn, NY where she became a facet of the original jazz scene. She has previously released six CDs and has toured extensively throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
