Everyman Theatre's Grand Opening Celebration Week kicks off January 14 with a ribbon cutting ceremony and the first public performance, and Baltimore premiere, of 2008 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play, August: Osage County.

The celebration continues through a week of Gala events detailed below:
*Denotes a fundraising event with all proceeds benfit the Everyman Theatre.

RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY
Monday, January 14

The official public opening of the brand new Everyman Theatre at 315 W. Fayette Street on the morning of our first public performance.

FROM THE EMPIRE TO EVERYMAN: THE DEDICATION OF THE FIRST PUBLIC PERFORMANCE
Monday, January 14

A special evening for theater-makers and theatrical dignitaries from the region and across the country with a pre-show reception followed by the first public performance of August: Osage County and a VIP cast party. By invitation only.

5:30pm Reception. 6:30pm Curtain. 10pm VIP Cast Party.

“PAY WHAT YOU CAN” NIGHT
Tuesday, January 15

A tradition central to Everyman’s mission of making theatre accessible and affordable to everyone, this wildly popular event remains open to the public during our special Grand Opening week. Those lucky enough to get tickets are required to simply pay what they can. Tickets available day-of, in-person at the Box Office only.

5pm Box Office Opens. 7pm Curtain

Opening Night*
Friday, January 18

A pre-show reception followed by the Opening Night performance of August: Osage County and a VIP cast party. Open to the public.

6pm Reception. 7pm Curtain. 10:30pm VIP Cast Party

GRAND OPENING GALA*
Saturday, January 19

A seated dinner to honor our capital campaign leaders and contributors followed by a performance of August: Osage County and a cast party with dessert and champagne. Open to the public.

5pm Reception. 5:30pm Dinner. 7pm Curtain. 10:30pm Cast Party

FOUNDERS BRUNCH*
Sunday, January 20

A seated brunch to celebrate our original stakeholders in the theatre followed by a performance of August: Osage County. Open to the public.

11:30am Founders Brunch. 1:30pm Curtain. 5pm Toast with Cast
