December 05, 2016 - December 19, 2016

This class meets every Monday from December 5-19. In her book Daring Greatly, Brené Brown defines vulnerability as "uncertainty, risk and emotional connection." She goes on to say that vulnerability is not valued in our culture but seen as weak. However, she says, in order to live a wholehearted life we must courageously reach out and connect heart to heart. Coincidentally, one could define Improv as uncertainty, risk and emotional connection and this courage session we will explore the nervous "I'm not funny enough" demons that keep us armored against opening up.
