Congenital heart defects (CHDs) are the most common type of birth defect, affecting 1 in 110 births. It is the mission of Mended Little Hearts to provide help, hope and healing to parents and families affected by congenital heart defects. The proceeds from our fundraiser event will support the yearly activities of MLH-Greater Baltimore we provide families with assistance during prolonged hospital stays, hold family-fun events for the kids battling CHD, and increase awareness concerning congenital heart defects through educational meetings. Proceeds will also support the work of a medical team from John's Hopkins Hospital’s Division of Pediatric Cardiology as they bring medical care to kids with CHD in Cambodia.
