Facilitated by Lake Roland and Oregon Ridge Nature Center Increase and share your knowledge of Maryland’s plants and animals. A training program for volunteers who want to learn and share knowledge of the natural world. Maryland Master Naturalist training consists of 60 hours of classroom and hands-on experience in a variety of subjects. Classes are taught by university professors and experts in the field of botany, entomology, herpetology, and ornithology. Fee: $250 Limited enrollment, apply early! Choose either of these sessions: Dates: April 4th –May 23rd 2016 Days: Mondays, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm and two Saturdays, April 16th and May 21st OR Dates: April 12th- June 18th 2016 Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:00- 9:00 pm and two Saturdays per month Registration required: Please call 410-887-4156 or email: lakerol-rp@baltimorecountymd.gov
