Any one of us can be a leader and ignite change, but it starts by claiming it from within. Check out artwork created by RYP participants inspired by their unique backgrounds and social justice leaders. During gallery hours you can purchase a handmade item such as a candle, book, or t-shirt, created in collaboration with local refugee youth. All proceeds benefit ongoing RYP programming! The show will run from January 14-17 Also be sure so come to the necklace-making workshops on Friday and Saturday! Find the event pages on Pixilated Fed Hill's Facebook page. The RYP is a joint program of Baltimore City Community College and the International Rescue Committee. The RYP is fully grant-funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement’s School Impact Grant. This grant is distributed and monitored by the Maryland Office of Refugee and Asylees which provides support and services to refugees to ease their transition into American society, and serves as a resource to the governor and general assembly on refugee and immigrant policy. The RYP currently serves more than 300 refugees between the ages of 4 and 21 from over 17 countries. Learn more at
