Join the Occasional Symphony for our annual Halloween extravaganza! This year we present the Lon Cheney classic, Phantom of the Opera. One of the first, great experiments with technicolor, be prepared for spectacle, suspense, and, as always, SOUND! The OS will be celebrating Halloween this year with not one, but TWO concerts at Baltimore’s 2640 Space. Conductor Joshua Hong and the musicians of the Occasional Symphony will all be in costume as they accompany the 1925 silent horror film adaption of Phantom of the Opera, on Sunday, October 30 (5:00-7:00pm) and Monday, October 31st (7:30-9:30pm). So at your own risk, pick out your best costume and join us as we celebrate Halloween in style! Featuring the music of Ruby Fulton, Jenny Beck, Natalie Draper, Scott Miller, Joshua Bornfield, Alexa Rinn, and Christopher Ciampoli! Additionally featuring Mozart, Puccini, Brahms, Debussy Wagner, Verdi, Stravinsky, Ravel, and the brilliant voice of the fire-clad Melissa Wimbish! It's a show! Be sure to get your tickets!
