October 11, 2015

Baroque chamber music from Holland's Golden Age with Paul Leenhouts, recorder; Cynthia Roberts, violin; Allen Whear, cello; Elliot Figg, harpsichord. Recorder virtuoso Paul Leenhouts, founding member of the famed Amsterdam Loecki Stardust Quartet, will perform rare works from 17th and 18thc Netherlands, including two North American premieres. In place of our usual pre-concert talk, we will offer a guided tour of the BMA's own collection of Dutch Masters, which includes Van Dyck and Rembrandt. The tour is at 2:30 PM and is free, though a ticket is required.
