Visit the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore: The American Visionary Art Museum, a glass mosaic tiled building located in historic Federal Hill in Baltimore, is a museum grounded in inspiration. All the pieces in this eccentric museum were created by self-taught artists. The spark of inspiration struck and they made art. Featured pieces include Fifi, the lead dog in the peddle-powered Kinetic Sculpture race, a sculpture of the performer named Divine, made famous by John Waters, and a scale replica of the Lusitania made out of glue and toothpicks.

The Town Crier in Fell's Point: The Town Crier reads the news from 1814 and recounts the Battle of Baltimore, the decisive battle in the War of 1812 against the British. In the battle, Francis Scott Key penned the original draft of a poem in the waters off of Fort McHenry which eventually became our Star-Spangled Banner.
