Volunteers Needed to Do Something that Counts

Posted on December 17, 2014

The Mayor's Office of Human Services and our friends at The Journey Home need help to conduct their annual Homeless Point-in-Time (PIT) Count. The PIT Count helps Baltimore to identify individuals, families and youth experiencing homelessness and connect them to much needed housing and support services. It also provides important data to help inform the plan to end homelessness in Baltimore.

Volunteers are needed during the week of January 25, 2015 to visit neighborhoods, hospitals, service providers, and other locations to conduct a detailed census. Volunteers will work in teams of three to four and will be paired with an experienced homeless service provider.
