Each of Visit Baltimore’s publications, the official website and the Baltimore Visitor Center provide additional advertising and promotional opportunities to enable you to tell your story.
The Visit Baltimore Meeting and Event Planning Guide
The Visit Baltimore Meeting and Event Planning Guide is distributed to 5,000 meeting professionals, group tour operators and reunion planners during sales calls, at tradeshows,
through customer-focused events and educational (familiarization) tours, and by mail. It features everything they need to know about planning a convention, meeting, tradeshow or event in Baltimore and the members’ resources that are available to them.
The Official Guide
The Official Guide, Visit Baltimore’s magazine-style guide for leisure travelers and convention attendees, highlights what’s new and happening in Baltimore and spotlights accommodations, restaurants and nightlife, museums and attractions, tours, sports, and much more through its listings. The publication, with 200,000 copies printed twice a year, is distributed to travelers in advance of their visit as well as at the Baltimore Visitor Center and state welcome centers, hotels, and other high-traffic areas.
Visit Baltimore’s website is viewed by more than a million people each year. The site, promoted
aggressively through all marketing communications campaigns, gives members additional advertising vehicles, such as banner advertising and enhanced listings, to highlight their businesses or organizations.
The Baltimore Visitor Center
The Visitor Center on the Inner Harbor attracts more than 400,000 travelers each year. In addition to brochure distribution, promotions and ticket sales, members can take advantage of additional paid display advertising and product sampling programs.
