African -American Heritage Festival

June 27 - June 29, 2008

The three hottest days of summer are the city's coolest festival. Baltimore's annual celebration of African American culture, history and heritage stretches out over three days of nationally-renowned entertainment, food, art and community at the Camden Yards Sports Complex. Organized each year in celebration of the depth and scope of Black culture, the African American Heritage Festival showcases the history, spirit and strength of Baltimore's African American community and leadership. Caribbean Carnival Festival

July 11- July 13

Your summer trip to the islands is as close as Baltimore's Druid Hill Park! The Caribbean Carnival Festival features the foods and culture of the islands, as well as a traditional costumed parade celebrating the carnival traditions of carribean music like soca, reggae and steel drum bands. Festival of India

Little Italy Open Air Film Festival

Each Friday throughout July and August, the Little Italy community welcomes locals and visitors alike to enjoy film classics from Fellini to Moonstruck in a warmly romantic neighborhood setting. Polish Festival
