HOUSTON, Texas (December, 12, 2013) – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) announced that Baltimore, Anaheim and San Antonio will host three future Expo! Expo! events, as part of a unique three-city partnership.

Visit Baltimore, Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau and San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau plan to host Expo! Expo! (IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition) in Baltimore for 2015, Anaheim in 2016 and San Antonio in 2017. By aligning their resources they will provide meeting and event planners with a multitude of options and opportunities, and underscore each destination’s investment in industry education and leadership training.

This partnership will provide each Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) with enhanced opportunities for outreach and exposure to key decision makers throughout the year, including the IAEE Women’s Leadership Forum, Krakoff Leadership Institute and consistent exposure in IAEE publications, advertising and media outreach.

“As a former CVB leader, I know how valuable it is to partner with an association like IAEE,” said David DuBois, CAE, CMP, FASAE, CTA, IAEE President and CEO. “Our members will certainly appreciate the partnership of three outstanding cities that continue to welcome hundreds of exhibitions and events annually.”

The three DMOs have joined forces with IAEE to reinforce their continued interest and support for industry education and leadership development. Each CEO has provided their perspective on this new partnership:

 “Baltimore is honored to serve as the host city for IAEE in 2015 and excited to be working with our colleagues in Anaheim and San Antonio to roll out the red carpet for IAEE exhibitors and delegates from 2015 – 2017,” said Tom Noonan, President and CEO, Visit Baltimore. “By working together we are able to offer attendees a connected three-year experience, drawing on shared assets to enhance the experience for not one, but three years in a row.”

 "We are eager to begin a partnership with IAEE in 2014, and support key education initiatives,” said Jay Burress, President and CEO, Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau. “We believe that in bringing our organizations together in this three-city IAEE Partnership we will forge closer relationships with exhibition professionals and offer more opportunities for success. When Expo! Expo! comes to Anaheim in 2016, we will introduce Anaheim’s expanded meeting facilities and an array of new hotels, entertainment options and high-tech transportation development."

 “San Antonio is thrilled to participate and partner with IAEE to host Expo! Expo!” stated Casandra Matej, Executive Director, San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau. “This alliance has allowed us to leverage the value of partnership and collaborate with industry colleagues to offer the IAEE membership a unique, valuable experience through the tri-coastal rotation. We look forward to supporting IAEE in their mission to advance the industry’s success and assist in driving forward key initiatives – such as the Women’s Leadership Forum and the Krakoff Leadership Institute. San Antonio is honored to serve as the host city for Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition in 2017 – in time to showcase the cutting-edge, versatile Henry B.
