Baltimore, MD (September 11, 2013) — Visit Baltimore, in partnership with greiBO Entertainment, will present the city’s first Family Reunion Expo on Saturday, September 28, from noon – 8 p.m. at the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park. The expo will provide attendees with the resources necessary to begin planning their next family reunion. From hotel information, food tastings and genealogy experts to live entertainment and tours of Baltimore’s attractions, there is fun for the entire family.

Attendees can participate in seminars with celebrity guests; learn the latest line dances; participate in
family games; and enjoy live entertainment from R&B/soul singer and songwriter Chico DeBarge, the
youngest sibling from the world-renowned group DeBarge. There will be a genealogy reveal with actor
Clifton Davis from the popular television series “Amen”; and Bern NaDette Stanis, of the
groundbreaking African American television sitcom “Good Times” and author of the book “Situations
101: Relationships,” will host a seminar focusing on ways to establish and maintain healthier
relationships among couples and families. The first 100 attendees to arrive will also get to attend a
special “Meet & Greet” with Stanis.

“The Family Reunion Expo is a great source for family reunion planners looking to Baltimore as the host
for future reunions,” said Tom Noonan, president and CEO, Visit Baltimore. “It will provide attendees
an opportunity to sample what Baltimore makes readily available to visitors – all in one place.”

Shelonda Stokes, president & CEO of greiBO Entertainment, shared, “We’ll provide useful tips on how
to plan the perfect family reunion. More than 40 sponsors and vendors representing Baltimore hotels,
museums and attractions will be on hand to help.”

Children will also enjoy lots of fun in the expo’s Kids Zone, which will feature face painting, fun games
and activities, and a live performance by the independent children’s recording group, Milkshake.
Known for their authentic rock ‘n’ roll spirit, they will have children of all ages on their feet.

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake adds, “There is so much that Baltimore has to offer for families,
starting with our trendy Inner Harbor and its breathtaking views, superb dining, great cultural
experiences and exciting nightlife.”

Expo attendees will have opportunities to enjoy a Harriet Tubman walking tour and win special family
reunion experiences and group passes to leading attractions such as the National Great Blacks In Wax
Museum, Top of the World Observation Level, Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African
American History & Culture, Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine, Maryland Science
