Eat in Season Challenge 2008-2009
In response to Slow Food Baltimore'schallenge to "eat in season," select area restaurants will be serving locally sourced, seasonal and traditionally preserved food. Beginning in May, one restaurant a month will provide a special three-course menu for one week; with the primary ingredients in each course to be locally sourced, and either currently in season or traditionally preserved. Oysters a la carte! The masters serve them up raw, stewed, fried and oyster shooters doused in tomato juice and vodka. The Fells Point Oyster Festival, also known as Slurp Fest, is a free event on the water front that serves signature brews keg-style with all donations collected from purchasing beer wrist bands given to the Learning, Inc. charity.

Several of the Harbor East restaurants have joined forces for an exciting progressive dinner: Cirque de Harbor East: A Dining Extravaganza.
