Join the fun at the Inner Harbor all day every Friday at Family Fun Fridays, May 4 through September 14. Featuring discounts at world-class attractions, free entertainment including the Walter Sondheim Splash Pad, Kids' play by Pure Play Every Day, Inc., street performers, Friday night concerts, kid-friendly dining options, and more!

Bird Walk in the Wetlands
Jun. 6 | 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. | Fort McHenry National Monument & Historic Shrine
2018 is the #YearOfTheBird! Visit Fort McHenry and participate in a bird walk from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. An experienced guide will lead observers through the wetlands as they observe the many species of birds that call the park home.

Family Fun Friday
Jun. 8 | 5- 8 p.m. | Maryland Science Center
Admission for Family Fun Friday includes the permanent exhibit halls, Planetarium, and IMAX Theater. All visitors pay just $10 for admission during Family Fun Friday.

Summer Socials at West Shore Park
Jun. 8 | 5 p.m. | West Shore Park
Bring a blanket and enjoy a fun, family-friendly evening at West Shore Park every second Friday from May through September. Summer Socials feature live music by a local band, kids activities, food trucks, bar service, and the Walter Sondheim Interactive Fountain. Summer Socials are always free and fun to attend!

Where The Wild Things Art
Jun. 13 | 5:30 – 8 p.m. | The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore Join The Painted Palette at the Zoo for a wildly entertaining night of painting and sipping with your favorite animal ambassador friends! You are guaranteed to get in touch with your creative side as one of their artists guides you through re-creating the night’s featured painting - "Warhol Crabs."

Rhythms & Reels at Cylburn Arboretum

The Office of Mayor Catherine Pugh and Baltimore City Recreation and Parks is excited to launch another season of free movies and concerts through #RhythmsandReels. Join us for performances by Violet Belle (6/13), Kristen Toedtman (7/11) and viewings of Leap (8/8) and Grease (9/12)

Super Science Sleepover: Drippy, Slippy Science

Slip and slide your way to the Maryland Science Center for their Super Science Sleepover: Drippy, Slippy Science. Construct your own boat to make some waves at the boat regatta. Have a splashing good time creating water drop paintings. And, keep ink afloat by practicing the ancient art of Suminagashi. Then, when it’s time to say lights out—sleep in the exhibit halls!

Ruckus Fest: Emo & Pop Punk BBQ

Bikes and Beers Baltimore 2018
Jun. 23 | 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. | Union Craft Brewing
Bikes and Beers BALTIMORE features a 15-mile and 30-mile ride departing from Union Craft Brewing (New Brewery!) and traveling through the beautiful city of Baltimore, MD. Both rides will feature a half-way rest stop with refreshments. Upon return to Union Craft riders will recieve an official pint glass (and koozie!) with 2 FREE BEERS of your choice. At Union Craft there will be LIVE MUSIC, local food trucks and lots of outdoor games to play! A Celebration of Cycling and Craft Beer!


Workout & Whiskey: Pure Barre

3rd Annual Baltimore Floatilla

Join the fight for a clean and accessible Harbor by paddling in the Baltimore Floatilla while raising money for its restoration. The Healthy Harbor Initiative is fighting every day for clean water and healthy communities. Money raised by the Floatilla will provide City students with environmental field trips, makeover dirty alleys and help Mr. Trash Wheel and Prof. Trash Wheel keep hundreds of tons of trash out of the water.

Free Summer Solstice Yoga Celebration

YogaWorks Federal Hill and the American Visionary Art Museum present a free outdoor yoga class that welcomes the summer solstice! All abilities and skills are welcome. HONfest symbolizes all the charm and goodwill that lies within the hearts of those who live, work and play in Bawlmer. “Hon” the Bawlmer term of endearment short for “Honey”, embodies the warmth and affection bestowed upon our neighbors and visitors alike by the historic working women of Baltimore. HONfest is an annual celebration in honor of these women.

PRIDE 2018

Baltimore Pride Weekend 2018 consists of a three-day celebration, that kicks off with Twilight on the Terrace on Friday June 15 followed with the block party and legendary parade on Saturday and Sunday’s festival at Druid Hill Park. Baltimore Pride is now in its 43rd year!
