Join Visit Baltimore (Foundation) and partners from BOPA, City Rec and Parks, MedStar Harbor Hospital and more to clean, restore and beautify an important gateway into South Baltimore. With staging headquarters located at the southern terminus of the Gwynns Falls Trail at MiddleBranch/Reedbird Park, volunteers will not only assist BOPA and conservators in the restoration of one of the City’s inaugural (and last standing) public art sculptures, Patapsco River Project; but also, we will expand out along Middle Branch Trail and Park to clean and beautify the south Baltimore waterfront.
Expert guidance and supplies will be provided. A variety of tasks for all abilities will be available. Complimentary shuttle service will be provided between the Visitor Center/Volunteer site/Little Havana. Complete the form here to sign up as an individual or as a team – the more hands on deck, the more impact we can make.
Volunteers AND all members are invited to join Visit Baltimore for a celebratory happy hour and industry meet-up immediately following the day of service at Little Havana. Whether you are coming from the volunteer site or work, everyone (and casual attire) is welcome. Registration is free. Click here to RSVP for the member happy hour only.
