Please join us for an evening of delightful performances on Friday, October 29 from 8 to 9 pm at Maryland Art Place! As part of The 14Karat Cabaret Retrospective Exhibition MAP will host a series of pop-up performances in the Maryland Art Place gallery located on the 1st floor of the MAP building

The 14Karat Cabaret exhibition will be open for viewing and seating at 7pm with performances beginning at 8pm. Performances will take place in the gallery on the 1st floor.

Featuring short performances by:

CURVING TOOTH: a collaboration between painter, writer and vocalist Liz Downing and arranger, producer and instrumentalist, Greg Hatem. Their songs thread an odd needle between darkly comedic avant-folk and electro-Appalachian pop.

SARAH JACKLIN AND ELLIOT SWAIN: new work about an encounter that goes horribly wrong.

BASHI ROSE MITCHELL FERGUSON and MICHELE BLU: collaborative group featuring Bashi on drums, Mitchell Ferguson spoken word and Michele on singing bowls.

MARTHA COLBURN: Animations old and new by the one and only painter, puppet maker and animator extraordinaire Martha Colburn
