Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking evening celebrating Uncommon Sense: Rethinking Ordinary Problems in Extraordinary Ways, the latest book by Johns Hopkins University president emeritus, William R. Brody. This special event will feature a lively conversation with the author as he shares the ideas, insights, and inspirations behind his work, moderated by Dr. Daniel H. Weiss, offering a fresh perspective on thinking beyond the obvious.

Guests will have the opportunity to hear directly from William Brody, participate in a Q&A discussion, and connect with fellow readers and thinkers in a welcoming, intellectually curious atmosphere.

William R. Brody is president emeritus of Johns Hopkins University and president emeritus of the Salk Institute for Biological Studies.

Daniel H. Weiss is the George D. Widener Director and CEO of the Philadelphia Art Museum, the Homewood Professor of the Humanities at Johns Hopkins University, and the President Emeritus of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The author of seven books, he holds an MBA from Yale and a PhD from Johns Hopkins University where he served on the faculty and as the James B. Knapp Dean of Johns Hopkins’s Krieger School of Arts and Sciences.
