Sweet heat for the soul — a queer-centered, Afro-Caribbean-inspired Latin dance party built for vibes, freedom and full-body joy.

Welcome to AZÚCAR, Baltimore’s newest queer Latinx + Caribbean dance night — a space where Salsa meets Soca, where Bachata flows into Afrobeats, and where the rhythm doesn’t stop until your feet do.

🎶 Music & Vibe

Expect a high-energy, genre-blending set from DJ LA ALEMANA, featuring Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Reggaetón, Dancehall, Soca, Konpa, Afrobeats and more. Whether you’re dancing in sync with a partner or vibing solo — this night is built for movement and joy.

🕗 8–9 PM: Bachata Dance Class

No partner or experience needed — just bring your energy and a willingness to learn!

💃🏽 9 PM–1 AM: Social Dancing + Dance Party

We dim the lights, turn up the bass, and let the floor fill with fierce, free energy.
