BALTIMORE'S 31st ANNUAL NEW YEAR'S EVE INTERFAITHPRAYER CELEBRATION

The Historic St. Ignatius Church at Calvert and Madison Streets will join the Baltimore New Year’s Eve scene with its 31st Annual Interfaith Prayer Celebration.

In this gathering with people of Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Buddhist faith traditions we will offer thanksgiving to God for the blessings of this past year and will pray for continued blessings in 2024. Also offering prayers for the City of Baltimore will be various governmental officers – Baltimore City Mayor Brandon Scott; Chief Judge Lewyn Garrett from the Orphans Court and many others. The Archbishop of Baltimore, Archbishop William J. Lori is an honored guest, and joining us again will be WYPR radio personality and Midday host Tom Hall.

There will also be the phenomenal music by the St. Ignatius Choir, instrumentalists, and guest soloists — as well as a brass ensemble. This year interpretive dance will be added by Divine Language Dance Ministry.

The Program is from 8:30 – 9:30 PM with pre-event music beginning at 8 PM. This event is free of charge.
