Blythe Roberson: America The Beautiful? (In Conversation With Kelsey McKinney)
The Ivy Bookshop is over the moon to announce Blythe’s return to Baltimore to celebrate her latest book, America the Beautiful?: One Woman in a Borrowed Prius on the Road Most Traveled! Blythe will be joined by the incredible reporter, writer and podcast host Kelsey McKinney. It’s sure to be a fantastic night at Bird in Hand, our sibling shop in Charles Village.
In America the Beautiful?, Roberson examines Americans’ obsession with freedom, travel and the open road. It’s a funny, entertaining travelogue that blends the humorous observations of Bill Bryson with the piercing cultural commentary of Jia Tolentino.
