This electrifying tribute reimagines the songs that carried a generation through protest and pride, joy and justice. At Morgan State University, our Musical Theatre program stands uniquely committed to honoring the artists who shaped our culture while using their legacy to confront the pressing issues of America today—issues that still affect our people. As playwright and director, Dr. Tyrone Stanley has curated a lineup of Motown greats, fusing timeless hits with a call to awareness, unity, and action through singing, poetry, spoken word, and dance.
