G. Thomas Allen Quintet + Wordsmith

What do you do with a voice that wins the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Voice Competition and can also sing for years as part of the Los Angeles Opera? You form a quartet, then a quintet, and you go to the Murphy Fine Arts Center to perform for Homecoming at you alma mater! The G. Thomas Allen Quintet is performing as the 1st night of Homecoming 2022 at Morgan State’s Murphy Fine Arts Center. This is an event that will be very special–as the gig will be opened by another MSU alum: Wordsmith, a songwriter, performer, educator, activist whose performances lift and enlighten!
