Born in Shanghai, Chinese pianist Hao Liu has been consistently acclaimed for her beautiful and sensitive interpretation of music with deep feeling. After made her recital debut at the age of nine, she has given numerous solo and concerto performances around Asia, Europe and North America in world famous venues. In recent years, she has also been invited to perform in important music festivals include Festival Piano aux Jacobins and CCOM piano festival in Beijing.
Started her musical education at the age of four, Hao received her early training at Music Middle School affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Jin Tang. In 2014, she was accepted in Shanghai Conservatory with the highest score and studied with Minduo Li. She has won many international competitions and received various music scholarships every year. She earned her master’s degree from Peabody Conservatory where she studied with Boris Slutsky and her Graduate Diploma from New England Conservatory under the tutelage of Alexander Korsantia and Alessio Bax.
