Highwire Improv at the Lou Costello Room
Highwire Improv makes a triumphant return to the Lou Costello Room, in the 2nd floor of Zissimos Bar in Hampden! In addition to our monthly laughs on the 3rd Saturday of every month with a rotating cast of the city’s best improv ensembles, as well as frequent regional and national touring guests, we have special event shows like this one!
The bar is open all day, and the upstairs comedy room opens at 6:30 p.m. for a 7 p.m. showtime!
This show’s acts include:
K&H – a duo with two of Baltimore’s most storied improvisers; Kathryn and Heather have the chemistry and charisma pop stars dream of, and a laughs-per-minute rate that defies logic. Plan your week around seeing them!
Teen Angst – relive the tropes and memories of teen movies of the 80’s and 90’s, minus the problematic dialogue! Glory days, big characters, and needle drops make this a night to remember!
The Highwire Hive – come see a mashup of Highwire Improv’s performers – a group that’s never been seen before, and will never be seen again!
About the Venue:
The Lou Costello Room has been a mainstay of the Baltimore comedy scene for over a decade, regularly producing standup, improv, and sketch comedy shows in collaboration with many production companies. They also frequently host music and variety events from their location on Hampden’s 36th Street, ‘The Avenue!’
