Juneteenth Black Business Crawl

For Juneteenth weekend, Baltimore Main Streets is coordinating with its 8 Main Street districts to highlight their Black -owned businesses.

About this event

To commemorate the Juneteenth weekend, Baltimore Main Streets(BMS) is inviting you to visit its Main Street districts during our Black Business Crawl. The Black Business Crawl is being hosted by the Historic Pennsylvania Avenue Main Street and will visit each of the other main streets over the weekend with activities and giveaways at the participating Black-owned businesses.

Attendees of the BMS Black Business Crawl will receive a swag bag full of goodies from different Black businesses and list of the businesses participating in the event from each main street district. The participating businesses will have special sales and exclusive offers to passport holders, and after visiting each business, you will get a stamp ! At the end of the event, attendees turn their passports in to win prizes!!

The 8 active main street programs are:

Belair-Edison Main Street , Fell’s Point Main Street, Hamilton-Lauraville Main Street, Highlandtown Main Street, Historic Federal Hill Main Street, Pennsylvania Avenue Main Street, Pigtown Main Street and Waverly Main Street.

Capital Lounge (1531 Pennsylvania Avenue) is hosting a Juneteenth/Father’s Day vendor event for Sunday, June 20,2021.

The Avenue Bakery (2229 Pennsylvania Avenue)


Official Haute Mess at 919 Barre Street, is a women’s boutique fashion shop featuring the latest in apparel, jewelry, and accessories. Please use your $10 Pig Bucks included in your gift bag towards your purchase. Hours: Saturday 12-7pm Sunday 12-5 pm

Friends Grille + Bar (737 Carroll Street) is a locally owned neighborhood restaurant specializing in modern, but laid-back southern cuisine that reflects the very best of what the area has to offer. We strive to use local, seasonal produce, all-natural meats, and the freshest seafood.

For the Juneteenth Crawl they are featuring the Jubilee Cocktails $8. Please use your $10 Pig Bucks included in your gift bag towards your purchase. They are open Saturday 5-10 pm and Sunday 11 am-3 pm.

Old Major is an eclectic and casual bar and event space located in Southwest Baltimore’s Railroad District in Historic Pigtown/Washington Village, just west of downtown and the stadiums. Our menu includes well-known beer and spirits, along with local Maryland-produced craft beer, liquor, wines and specialty cocktails. We’ve been named a “Top Beer Bar” in Baltimore, with a mostly-local beer inventory that includes more than 30 varieties available on draft and in bottles and cans. Tasty West Indian and pub food, with vegan options, are also served. Meet. Eat. Drink.
