Baltimore’s own hip-hop star WORDSMITH and Nashville-based pianist-producer Kory Caudill team up for A Concert for the Human Family. This fusion concert, developed in conjunction with The Episcopal Church’s vision for Becoming Beloved Community, aims to advance racial reconciliation and healing within — and beyond — the Church. During this special event, venture into a sonic realm that effortlessly blends jazz, hip-hop, and bluegrass musical styles with profound narratives designed to catalyze meaningful dialogues on reconciliation, healing, and justice within the tapestry of our diverse communities. Indeed, here in Baltimore and beyond, the power of these songs and narratives will help to break down the walls separating us and unite us in bonds of love. The Rt. Rev. Carrie Schofield-Broadbent, Bishop of Maryland, is special guest for this special program.
