Come enjoy a beautiful summer night with us for our first ever Outdoor Opera Movie Night on Saturday, July 19 to enjoy the Meryl Streep film Florence Foster Jenkins! This is a FREE community event.
Florence Foster Jenkins is about the diva known as the world’s worst opera singer with an unquenchable love of the art form. Featuring a short pre-film talk with FFJ documentarian Donald Collup about who Florence was and why she is still beloved by the opera community today! Wine sales will be available by Boordy Vineyards!🍷🎥🍿
Whether you are an opera lover, opera curious or just enjoy a fun outdoor movie experience, bring blankets, chairs, bug spray, a picnic or movie snacks and friends. Grab a spot on the lawn and enjoy the show!
Gates open at 7 p.m., the talk begins at 8 p.m. and the movie starts at 8:30 p.m. In the event of rain the screening will be moved inside. All ages are welcome but please note the rating is PG-13.
