Middle School & High School Learn to Row

Learn to row with BCR junior rowers, college-bound alumni athletes, and BCR coaches. During your week at BCR, you will spend time on the water learning the skills necessary to become a rower. Athletes will spend time on land learning boat handling and rowing technique, rowing on the erg (rowing machine), and participating in land-based workouts designed to challenge your fitness. Each week will end in camp-wide racing.

Open to athletes in 7th-12th grade. Instruction will take place in team boats. Rowers will learn the foundations of the stroke needed to transition to the novice team at BCR in the fall. A swim test is required for participation in Summer Learn-to-Row.
