Monthly Meditation Recharge: Start or Strengthen Your Meditation Practice

Join us for class, a tour, and an optional lunch at our World Peace Cafe.
This class is free if it’s your first class with us!

This class is designed to help you improve your daily meditation practice, or start a practice. Meditation is the main tool that Buddhists use to make lasting positive changes in our minds and lives. Learn to meditate in an authentic way that has been used for centuries to reduce mental and physical suffering and increase the power of the mind, resulting in greater peace and happiness.

Receive guidance on how to customize your practice to achieve your goals and conquer your obstacles. This class includes time for discussion and Q&A.

To Register: Visit MeditationMD.org. You can also register at the door, arriving 15 min early. This is an in-person class.

Cost: $12 ($8 students, seniors 62+, and unemployed). Free for Members.

About the Teacher: Rick Ratigan

A long-time member of KMC Maryland, Rick has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism since 1999, and has been teaching for about 15 years. He is retired from the State of Maryland with a background in Social Services. He is a sincere meditator and Dharma practitioner and is well liked for his compassion and a good sense of humor. Rick’s classes are down-to-earth and practical.
