Gallery 1448 presents OctoberWorks, an annual group exhibition. This year’s show features new work from some of our favorite 1448 artists: Leslie Schwing, Laura Vernon Russell, Claudia Bismark and Dan Brown, along with special guests Dave DeRan and Ruth Channing.

DeRan (Delta, PA), is well-known for his naturalist paintings, unique found object sculptures and his fabulous bass playing. Channing, owner of Baltimore’s Ink Spot Press, exhibits her new limited-run Tarot Card Deck.

Join us for a garden party reception, featuring live music by Fells Point Hootenanny.

The show runs from October 11 – October 26. Admission is free. There will also be a closing reception on Sunday, October 26, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Gallery hours are Saturday, October 17 & 24, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. and by appointment. Contact Leslie Schwing at [email protected] / 443-956-2459.
