Picnic in the Park hosted by Parks & People
On Friday May 13 from 6-10 p.m. join the annual Picnic in the Park event for an evening of live music, food trucks, cocktails, networking and dancing — all outdoors! This year’s Sally Michel Award Honoree is Bree Jones, Founder of Parity Homes. The event benefits Parks and People, Baltimore nonprofit that has helped transform the city for more than three decades. Parks & People has sought to achieve a single goal: to improve the quality of life for residents of Baltimore by ensuring that everyone has access to nature through vibrant parks and green spaces. By reclaiming vacant lots or beautifying a neglected open space or creating a safe playing field for kids — can serve as a catalyst for positive change and growth throughout Baltimore’s community.
