Pi(e) Day

Celebrate the most mathematically delicious day of the year at the Maryland Science Center!

Pi(e) Day is a celebration of the mathematical constant Pi (∏), a number used to calculate the circumference of a circle, and also a celebration of sweet and savory, circular baked treats! Circle up for a well rounded day of endless fun. Experiment with light and color while creating spectacular circle art. Design your own circular wind-up toy to explore the connection between potential and kinetic energy. Join MSC’s top chefs at the demo stage for a Great Bake  Off challenge with a science center twist, and more!

All activities are included with paid admission and completely free to members or schools visiting on a field trip.
