Pro Musica Rara presents SuperBach Sunday: Bach and Sons
Join us on Sunday 25 February at 3:30 p.m. for Pro Musica Rara’s SuperBach Sunday: Bach and Sons. The concert will take place at Grace United Methodist Church.
This all-Bach program features Paul Leenhouts, recorder, with Sara Nichols, flute; Cynthia Roberts, violin; Phoebe Carrai, cello; and Paula Maust, harpsichord. Works by Johann Sebastian, Carl Philipp Emanuel, Johann Christian, and Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach include J.S. Bach’s Sonata in G major, C.P.E. Bach’s Polonaise in G Minor, and J.C. Bach’s Sonata III in C major, among others.
Pro Musica Rara, Baltimore’s premier early music ensemble, is a period instrument chamber music ensemble performing baroque, classical, and early romantic repertoire. There will be a pre-concert presentation at 2:30.
